KEEP YOUR HEAD ABOVE WATER

FIDJIT

PRESALE NOW OPEN 28/03/25 UNTIL 30/04/25

FIDJIT is a Glasgow based tattoo artist, famous for founding the “Drowning Girl Club”.

This limited edition collaboration with House of Hulkes is launching to kickstart the celebrations for the 10 year anniversary of the Drowning Girl. The celebrations begin with two iconic signet rings, showing the girl on the face of the signet. Available in oval or square, each in three finger sizes.

Drowning Girls show a woman’s face, eye level with the water. Whilst it is a powerful and recognisable symbol for issues such as anxiety, depression and PTSD, they are also worn as a symbol of being a survivor of sexual assault and domestic violence, or as solidarity for a loved one’s experience.

Ultimately, the beauty of these girls is their ability to represent something completely personal to the owner. It is estimated that over 4000 people now have this tattoo, and are thus part of the ‘Drowning Girl Club’.

For most, this symbol became a message of acceptance and healing; a reminder to keep going.

Abbie’s collaboration with FIDJIT aims to not only spread awareness for the importance of our mental health, but to celebrate FIDJIT’s artistry, advocacy and most importantly, her dedication to helping people keep their heads above the water.

Drowning girl designs are PRESALE ONLY, please keep an eye on instagram announcements via @houseofhulkes and @fidjit

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Rings cannot be sized once they are manufactured, please double check your finger size before placing your order. You can purchase ring sizers online or visit any local jewellers who will be able to measure your finger. Please note, the square signets may feel slightly tighter than the size listed, due to a heavyweight and wider design.

Ring weights are only an approximate guide, and may vary due to being handmade.

Returns or exchanges are not accepted as each ring is made to order. If you would like to cancel your order, please ensure this is processed before the end of the pre-sale on 30th April 2025.

Full payment is required to process your order.

The presale is designed to minimise manufacturing costs and keep retail pricing low, as well as giving people time to consider purchasing. The manufacture process will take between 6-8 weeks. Manufacture will commence as soon as the presale closes. This timeframe may be quicker, but you will be notified immediately upon dispatch.

If you are based in the UK, all orders are sent out via ‘Special Delivery Before 1pm, Signed For’. This is at a cost of £12. Please make a note on your order if you are not available on certain weekdays to sign for the parcel. We will make a note to ensure we send out rings on your specified day to make sure it reaches you safely. This is for insurance purposes as most postal carriers/options do not insure jewellery within the system.

International postage is available at a cost of £18. This is also a tracked, signed and insured service. If you are ordering from outside of the UK, please be aware that you will be responsible for paying any customs charges outside of our control.

These signet rings are designed to be durable enough for everyday wear, however, we are not responsible for damage sustained to the ring under ‘wear and tear’. Please do not wear your ring for any physical activities such as visits to the gym, gardening, housework or swimming. Chlorine and chemicals can damage the surface of sterling silver. If you keep your ring in a box and don’t wear it often, it may develop patches of oxidisation on the surface which presents as a darkened colour. This will polish off easily by taking it to a jewellers for a professional clean, or by purchasing a silver cloth/dip. Oxidisation can also be caused by acidity in your skin, humidity and chemicals.

Sterling silver is a soft metal and can scratch easily, it will not retain a highly polished appearance if worn every day, however it does develop a soft ‘patina’ appearance which many people enjoy. This is not an issue and is expected with precious metal jewellery.

In the unlikely event you notice a manufacturing fault, please contact Abbie with your order number and details at houseofhulkes@gmail.com.

All signet rings are hallmarked as per the United Kingdom law. Abbie Hulkes (House of Hulkes) is a designer goldsmith and is registered with the London Assay Office. Each ring is correctly hallmarked with Abbie’s ‘AHG’ makers mark as well as the standard required markings such as silver fineness, assay office location, silver symbol, and date letter.

The precious metal market is currently very unsettled due to various factors, and we have explored all measures to keep prices as accurate as we can. We are currently planning to keep prices the same throughout the whole presale, however we reserve the right to change the prices to keep them in line with the precious metal market if there is a sudden increase.

All orders are supplied with a certificate of authenticity for the collaboration, as well as marking the celebration of the 10 year anniversary for the drowning girl.
