As well as releasing her own collections, Abbie works with skilled tradesmen across all genres and releases unique designs, not limited to jewellery, which are presented in a perfect merge of both artists involved.

From fellow jewellers, to musicians, tattoo artists and charities.. we all share an artistic flair, it’s bringing them together that creates the power.

Jewellery repair services

If you would like to book in your jewellery for repair, please take a moment to read the relative menus to ensure we can provide the service you need.

Prices are a guideline only and you will be provided with an accurate quote before any work is undertaken. Unless you live locally to the studio, we will need to receive and return your jewellery by post.

Please fill in the contact form and upload any relevant images to help us provide you with a quote, and we’ll get your jewellery fixed up.

  • We are able to offer sizings to any size needed (subject to the design on the ring) by traditional soldering for stone set or textured bands. As well as this, we offer compression/stretch sizings for plain bands which need no more adjustment than 4 sizes.

    Please note, sizings for sterling silver rings are not offered.

    • Compression/Stretch - From £40

    • Traditional Sizing Down - From £60

    • Traditional Sizing Up (Adding metal) - £60 + gram weight of metal added.

  • Traditional solder repairs for your solid chains, available for silver or all grades of gold.

    Fine chains are repaired using the laser welder.

    • Chain repair or adjustment (shortening only) - From £30

    • Chain extension - From £30 + extension chain per cm

  • All House of Hulkes products set with stones are tightened free of charge within the first year of purchase.

    • Classic claw set tightening - From £40

    • Rubover/bezel set tightening - From £50

    • Multi-stone tightening (eternity bands etc) - From £50 + £10 per stone thereafter.

    • Tightening of delicate stones (emeralds, opals etc) - From £60

    • Reset client’s own stone - From £60

    • Source and reset missing stone - From £60 + new stone

  • Free for all Hulkes products. (Postage fees apply, or drop off to the studio.)

    For jewellery not purchased from House of Hulkes:

    • £65 for the first piece, and £30 for each piece thereafter if received in the same order.

    All precious metals and stones require regular checks and maintenance to ensure your stones are secure, as well as keeping the polish/finish of your piece in tact.

    Please note, we are not responsible for stones which may fall out during cleaning. Further repair and re-setting work will be quoted and charged at an additional cost, but you will always be contact before any work is carried out.

    • Single pearl recement onto post - £15

    • Pair of pearl earrings recement onto posts - £25

    • 16 inch pearl stringing - From £50 unknotted, from £80 knotted.

    • 18 inch pearl stringing - From £70 unknotted, from £100 knotted.

    • Pearl stringing longer than 18 inches - POA

    • Retail Replacement (Insurance) Valuation -

    • Market Value (Selling onwards) -

    House of Hulkes works with qualified and regulated valuers within the trade to provide jewellery valuations for ‘Retail Replacement’ (insurance), probate, and market value.

    It is recommended to have your jewellery valued every three years to ensure the valuation is up to the date with the current market.

  • We are able to replace most chain/bracelet fittings, subject to availability.
